What you will study.

English:

In English, we will focus on developing your reading, writing, and speaking skills. You’ll explore a wide range of exciting texts, including novels, plays, and poetry. We’ll also work on improving your grammar, vocabulary, and spelling to make your writing more engaging and effective.

Mathematics:

In mathematics, you will continue building on the skills you already have, exploring topics like algebra, geometry, fractions, and percentages. You’ll solve problems and work on developing a deeper understanding of how numbers and mathematical concepts work in real life.

 

Science:

Science at The Boulevard Academy is full of hands-on experiments and exciting discoveries. You will learn about biology, chemistry, physics, and earth science. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and carry out investigations to explore how the world around us works.

History:

History lessons will take you on a journey through time, learning about key events, people, and civilizations from the past. You will study topics such as Ancient Egypt, the Romans, and World War II, learning how these events shaped the world we live in today.

 

Geography:

In geography, you will explore the world’s continents, countries, and cultures. You will learn about physical features such as mountains, rivers, and oceans, as well as human geography, including cities, populations, and environmental issues.

 

Art and Design:

You’ll have the chance to express your creativity in art and design, where you will learn different techniques, styles, and mediums. From drawing and painting to sculpture and digital design, there will be something for everyone!

 

Physical Education:

In PE, you will engage in a variety of sports and activities to improve your fitness, coordination, and teamwork skills. We focus on making physical activity fun and encouraging a healthy lifestyle.

 

Technology and Computing:

In technology, you will learn how to use computers and digital tools for a range of creative projects. You will also explore coding and develop your understanding of how technology impacts the world we live in.

 

Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education (PSHE):

This is an important part of your education, where you will learn about relationships, well-being, and your rights and responsibilities as a young person in the world.
