Ensures all staff are aware of safeguarding policies and procedures

Provides advice and support to staff on child welfare, safeguarding and child protection matters

Promotes supportive engagement with parents and/or carers in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, including where families may be facing challenging circumstances

Provides pastoral and well-being support to vulnerable students

Is responsible for coordinating arrangements for monitoring and supporting students who have been identified as being in need of protection

Online Safety
With children likely spending more time online, now is a good time to remind parents of the risks certain websites, apps and social media can pose, so that you are aware of the steps you can take to protect your child.

What is ‘online grooming’?
Online grooming is where someone befriends a child online and builds up their trust with the intention of exploiting them and causing them harm.
