Following on from Wednesday's workshop at Hull University, the Eco Teams from Kelvin Hall School and The Boulevard Academy have both been successful in securing grants of £1,300 each.
Schools had to prepare and submit bids for their plans. With expert help from teachers Will Firth and Lydia Burton, they have thought carefully and sensibly about their bids. We are grateful to Grace Chapman and Melissa Rackham from the Oh Yes Net Zero team.
The grants will now be used to gardening and recycling projects. These students are really rising to their Eco Challenges. Well done, everyone involved.
