It is always a pleasure to see the excitement of our potential students for next academic year, even though the present Year 7’s have only just begun.
This year we will be sharing learning experiences of the ‘Day of the Dead’ in Spanish to Brothers Grimm in drama. The music team will show the potential students how to perform African Drumming and the science department will wow the students with things exploding not to mention dissecting!
It is a big decision for students and parents to make regarding their next steps through secondary education and The Boulevard Academy with 600 students on roll is not only able to provide academic excellence but also a caring, individualise approach to learning and pastoral care.
As a staff body we ensure we know each and every student as we spend time with them as mentors finding out what they need to succeed not only in their academics but also in the challenges they may face in accessing the learning as well as developing the skills of resilience and the growth mindset.
Alongside the above, with class sizes of 20 in Year 7, rising to 24 from Year 8 we can ensure that all students are challenged and supported and have the best start to their secondary education and beyond.
With The Boulevard Academy being a very popular choice for students and parents, to secure a place with us you need to place us as your first choice as we only have limited places. We could have filled these twice over during our admissions round 2018!
Our Open Evenings this week are:
Tuesday 2nd October and Thursday 4th October 5:30pm -7:00pm
If you have any questions and would like to talk further about a place at The Boulevard Academy then please do not hesitate to contact us.
